  • Location: Maitland preferred, however other DPIRD office locations will also be considered
  • Salary from $125K pa to $138K pa plus super

NSW Resources are seeking a Senior Project Officer to join the Governance & Programs team.

Working independently, but as part of a wider business team, you will

  • Provide NSW Resources branches, programs, and projects expert advice, technical support and tools including frameworks to enhance integrity, governance and risk controls.
  • Be responsible for the implementation of strategies and programs detailed in the NSW Governance Framework
  • Work closely with our DPIRD business partners and NSW Resources staff.
  • Assist on other projects across the broader business space as needed.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A thorough understanding of governance principles and practices, including knowledge of governance and risk strategies and programs, and the capability to offer expert guidance and advice.
  • Exceptional project management skills – with the ability to take on a range of projects relating to governance, risk and WHS.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A continuous improvement mentality who seeks ways to improve and adapt to changing business needs.

You’ll also need to have an appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
