About the Role
As the Senior Compliance Officer Northern, you will lead a team to ensure compliance with hunting regulations across your zone. You'll be on the front lines, conducting patrols and investigations to deter illegal hunting, while also educating the public and hunters on their responsibilities. It’s a dynamic job where you’ll need to balance various demands, exercise sound judgment in complex situations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in compliance monitoring, investigations, and enforcement within a relevant regulatory framework
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of the Game and Feral Animal Control Act (2002) and Regulation (2012) and related legislation
  • A proven ability to effectively advise and educate diverse audiences and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Capacity to exercise appropriate judgment in field situations, conduct thorough investigations, and balance competing demands
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel
