About the Role
The Finance Advisory Performance & Procurement team is looking for a Senior Finance Business Analyst to support ongoing maintenance and future development of MyOutcomes, the Department’s financial and business reporting tool based on the Calumo report and analysis product. The role will analyse current financial and corporate reporting structures within MyOutcomes, coordinate and embed development lifecycle processes to facilitate continuous improvement of the Department's reporting and oversee the day-to-day operation of MyOutcomes financial and planning processes to support business finance and advisory teams. The role will also take a lead in the scoping of new technical development projects and the coordination and implementation of enhancements to existing modules and MyOutcomes projects.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in maintaining financial reporting systems to meet statutory and whole-of-government obligations.
- Knowledge of developing, reviewing, and improving reporting systems and business processes.
- Demonstrated capability in assessing functionality of new system releases for suitability and alignment with business needs.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support adoption of new reporting and automation features.
- Experience in leading consultations to capture, analyse, and report performance against targets.
- Understanding of coordinating development, user testing, and post-release review processes to enhance report quality and continuous improvement.
- Previous experience in data management and data analysis, and exposure to databases and query languages like SQL would be desirable and advantageous
