About the Role
The Soil Conservation Service (SCS) are seeking a Project Coordinator for this temporary five-month opportunity, which will focus on a key strategic project to review and rewrite SCS’s suite of panel deeds and tender documentation. Working directly with the Team Leader, you’ll play an active role in both coordinating and contributing to the development of these documents—researching, drafting, and refining content to ensure all materials are accurate, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with organisational policies and procurement best practice.

About You
You’re a detail-oriented project coordinator with experience supporting complex projects—ideally within government or a compliance-driven environment—who thrives on structure and seeing projects through to completion. You will have experience reviewing policy, procedures and regulations and in drafting clear and compliant documentation, while juggling tight deadlines and managing stakeholder input. Ideally from government or compliance-heavy environments, you’re proactive in researching best practice and refining processes to deliver quality outcomes.
You’ll bring to the role:
- Strong written communication and document development skills, particularly in a commercial environment (experience with procurement, deeds, policy and contracts will be highly regarded).
- Experience providing project coordination support in deadline-driven environments.
- Ability to research, interpret, and apply policies, standards, and procurement procedures.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and recommend improvements.
- Confidence liaising with stakeholders and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools for planning and tracking.
Applying is easy!
Submit your current Resume (max 2 pages) and a Cover Letter (max 1 page) outlining your relevant skills and experience, and why you’re our ideal candidate.
