- Temporary Full-Time role (38 hours per week) through to 30 June 2027
- Location: Team primarily located in Orange NSW. Opportunity for preferred candidate to be based in any LLS / DPIRD departmental office across NSW
- LLS Grade 7 | salary from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum plus super and leave loading
About the Role
This role is pivotal in driving business improvement across customer service functions, enhancing staff work environments, and reducing risk through the delivery of targeted small-to-medium capital construction-based projects. The work will involve initiating, delivering, and closing out capital construction projects within the required time frame and budget.
You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration, manage strategic initiatives, and promote a customer-centric culture across the organisation. Your work will directly influence the quality and consistency of services delivered to rural landholders and communities across NSW.
You will report directly to the Finance Business Partner – Assets in Local land Services. Though you will not have any direct reports, you will be part of a broader capital and finance team in LLS.
About You
You bring experience in project and program management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. You’re comfortable analysing preliminary data for a project, assessing financial progress against budget milestones, comfortable with procurement processes, managing contracts, and working face-to-face with internal stakeholders and teams.
Experience within the building industry, or in a comparable field involving project delivery and contract management, will be highly regarded as it provides valuable insight and practical skills to support successful outcomes.
