About the role
The Development Officer will undertake project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of the Parkes Special Activation Precinct. In this role you will support the Development Manager and broader team with the preparation of documentation, research and gathering of information for matters relating to the development and implementation of land and property. Key Accountabilities:
- Provide support in preparing documentation and reporting for land and property projects, including contributing to development strategies, project plans, commercial strategies, and agreements to achieve transaction outcomes.
- Assist with implementing land development requirements, such as land acquisition, assembly, sale, or leasing.
- Support contract management and procurement activities.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project development.
- Engage and prepare documentation for key stakeholders, including reports and briefing notes.
About You
- Demonstrated experience and commercial acumen in the planning and delivery of commercial transactions, property and land developments and program delivery including in the:
- preparation and management of development concepts and strategies, feasibility studies, budgets and programs, , sales contracts, leases and sales and marketing strategies.
- development and implementation of programs
- procurement of services
- strong research and analytical skills to support the development of key projects and programs
- ability to provide timely, accurate advice and support
- collaborate in cross functional teams and manage internal and external partners
- development of relationships with senior stakeholders.
Essential requirements
- Degree in real estate, land economics, business or a related field such as planning or engineering and/or relevant industry experience.
