About this role:
We have multiple Project Officer opportunities in the Farm Business Resilience Program. While all roles contribute to overall program delivery, each will lead the coordination and implementation of a key program area, including:
- Farm Business Planning and Coaching Programs – coordinating delivery of core coaching and business planning programs
- Young Farmer Business Program – coordinating and delivering initiatives specific to the Young Farmer target cohort
- Networking and Strengthening Agribusiness – delivering alumni initiatives, events and activities that support knowledge sharing, personal growth and social resilience
- Capacity Building – designing and leading engaging activities and events that build awareness, skills and capability in farm business planning
About You
Our Project Officers bring enthusiasm, creativity and delivery expertise to achieve excellent outcomes for our customers and the department. You enjoy collaborating with others, building strong relationships and supporting high-performing teams. You are confident delivering coordinated activities across multiple teams and stakeholders, have strong communication and influencing skills, and thrive in dynamic environments. You are energised by problem-solving, especially when the pathway forward is not clearly defined.
Essential Requirements
- Current NSW Driver’s License and ability and willingness to travel.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated experience in an appropriate discipline including business, project management, primary production, animal science, community engagement/development and natural resource management.
