About the Role

As a Project Officer, you will provide comprehensive support to ensure projects and events are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Your work will help streamline team operations, enhance program delivery, and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Provide high-level executive and project support, including preparing and reviewing submissions, reports, and correspondence.
  • Manage projects by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and maintaining documentation.
  • Organise regional events and visits, handling logistics, schedules, invitations, and program development for in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
  • Support procurement processes in line with departmental policies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform program activities and resolve issues.
  • Effectively manage priorities and deadlines while providing strong administrative support and collaborating with the team to address urgent matters.
  • Support the maintenance of documentation and systems for monitoring programs and projects, including updating information in the CRM.

 

About You

You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. With strong organisational skills, you excel at juggling multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality outcomes. Problem-solving comes naturally to you, and you have a proactive approach to tackling challenges and streamlining processes.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within scope. As you will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and balancing their diverse interests and expectations, strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.
