About the Role 

As an Agriculture Strategy Officer, you will support the development and delivery of the NSW Government’s Agriculture Sector Strategy—a transformative initiative to identify opportunities, address constraints, and guide actions that maximise the sector’s contribution to a thriving NSW economy. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide policy analysis, advice, and project coordination for the Agriculture Sector Strategy Taskforce. 

  • Coordinate cross-divisional input and maintain effective administrative processes. 

  • Undertake research and analysis to inform policy development and evaluation. 

  • Prepare briefs, reports, and discussion papers for senior stakeholders. 

  • Liaise with government agencies and industry stakeholders to gather insights and build collaboration. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues. 

  • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders and convey complex concepts clearly. 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, sensitive environment. 

  • Experience in policy development, project coordination, or strategic planning.
