About the Role 
The Soil Conservation Service (SCS) are seeking a Program Coordinator to lead a diverse team of environmental project managers in a commercial environment, delivering natural resource rehabilitation, restoration and resilience projects for industry stakeholders and clients.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience in promoting, managing and marketing a profitable commercial consulting business aligned with organisational business plans and profit targets. 
  • Experience collaborating across teams to connect operational and strategic objectives
  • Capability in identifying client needs, securing environmental projects, and overseeing professional teams to deliver work aligned with skills, capacity and workloads. 
  • Experience in establishing and managing project teams to meet governance, quality, and milestone requirements. 
  • Experience in onsite management of construction projects 
  • Capability in preparing, reviewing and delivering high-quality technical reports, plans and project documentation to meet organisational and client standards. 
  • Knowledge of contract and tender preparation and review processes. 
  • Experience in implementing projects in accordance with technical specifications and drawings prepared internally or by third parties. 
  • Capability in performance management, including KPI appraisal, feedback, mentoring and professional development. 
  • Understanding of integrated management systems, including documentation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation to support project outcomes. 

Essential Requirements 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent level of knowledge and experience  
  • Current NSW driver’s licence 
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in assessment, design and implementation of natural resource management, environmental restoration and/or civil construction techniques and practices 
  • Solid understanding of and commitment to the SCS’s IMS procedures or similar IMS’s
