  • Ongoing Full Time, 35 hours per week 
  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour 
  • Clerk Grade 9/10 – salary from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading 

 

About the Role

The Leader Regulatory & Digital Solutions provides strategic leadership for Biosecurity and Food Safety digital regulatory systems and online services, driving the design and continuous improvement of secure, accessible and user‑centred digital platforms. The role ensures digital solutions align with legislative requirements, departmental priorities and emerging technologies to deliver effective, compliant and future‑ready regulatory services. The role involves leading complex digital initiatives in a regulatory or compliance‑driven environment; balancing strategic objectives, legislative obligations and user needs to deliver practical outcomes; and influencing and building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.

 

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering customer‑centred digital regulatory platforms or services 
  • Strong leadership capability with experience developing teams and driving change 
  • Sound judgement, high integrity and a commitment to public sector values 

 

Essential criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams to deliver customer‑centred digital regulatory platforms (e.g. licensing, compliance or case management systems), balancing legislative obligations, stakeholder needs and resource constraints.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence
  • Ability to travel throughout NSW and interstate as required; and work outside normal working hours to achieve outcomes
