About the Role
The Project Officer – Data & Reporting coordinates, validates and maintains the data generated under monitoring and evaluation programs within the DPIRD Research and Development Strategy assists with development of internal reporting tools, and provides input to reports and analysis for internal clients.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain and update data collections to ensure integrity of data and provide accurate, complete, and accessible information.
- Develop and implement data management procedures to facilitate adoption of best practice under the Department’s records management and R&D data procedures.
- Collaborate with Project Officers and departmental research and development staff to facilitate the exchange of information, ensuring accurate data is maintained for reporting purposes and that appropriate data collection processes are in place.
- Coordinate collaborative consultation processes to capture, analyse and report performance against agreed targets and criteria, including benchmarking projects
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring data management and integration across departmental data networks.
- Provide support with the generation of impact reports, including preparation of data and confirmation of currency as per agreed reporting dates.
About You
A detail-oriented and collaborative professional with experience in data management, implementing best practices, and working closely with project teams to ensure accurate reporting, performance analysis, and continuous improvement across departmental data networks.
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
- Strong experience in maintaining and updating data collections to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Proven ability to develop and implement data management procedures, adhering to records management and R&D standards.
- Collaborative approach with Project Officers and research staff to ensure accurate data reporting and efficient data collection processes.
- Experience in coordinating consultations to capture, analyse, and report performance against agreed targets, including benchmarking.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in data management and integration across departmental networks.
- Ability to support the preparation of impact reports, ensuring data currency and accuracy for timely reporting.
