- Professional Officer 1/4 – Salary from $75,728 up to $145,442 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading
The salary offered to the successful candidate will be commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience, as outlined in the Crown Employees (Department of Regional NSW) Professional Officers Award and the Professional Officer Progression Criteria (1-4)
About the Role
Work directly with NSW grain and cotton growers to turn low-emissions farming into a reality! As the Research Officer ARN Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link between research and paddock - managing on-farm demonstrations and facilitating peer-to-peer learning to help farmers adopt practical greenhouse gas mitigation strategies.
You’ll focus on building trust, collecting real-world data, and creating lasting resources that will help the industry reach net zero by 2050.
About You
To be successful in this role you must hold (essential requirement)
- A degree in agricultural science or a related discipline.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical, on farm outcomes.
- Proven ability to build trust and engage effectively with primary producers, including visiting properties, having practical conversations, and understanding on-farm challenges
- Experience engaging with primary producers, project funders and government
- Valid NSW driver licence and a willingness to travel across the region.
