About the Role
As an Executive Assistant with NSW Resources, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director and Branch leadership team to operate at their best. You will coordinate the flow of information, manage priorities and ensure the Executive Director’s time and resources are used effectively, enabling leadership to focus on strategic outcomes that support the responsible development of NSW’s mineral and energy resources.
In this trusted role you will provide high level administrative and organisational support, prepare professional correspondence and briefings, and coordinate meetings, forums and key initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams, senior stakeholders and ministerial offices to ensure sensitive and time critical matters are handled with care, accuracy and professionalism, helping the branch deliver meaningful outcomes for regional communities and the people of NSW.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in supporting senior leaders to deliver important work. You will bring strong judgement, discretion and the ability to anticipate needs, ensuring priorities are managed smoothly while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience providing high level executive or administrative support in a complex environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate urgent requests with accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and professional documentation
- A collaborative approach with the ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High levels of integrity and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
