  • Clerk 9/10 starting at $129,464 + Super & Leave

Within this, the Regional Programs & Partnerships division leads the design, delivery and oversight of strategic investment programs, grants, and initiatives that support regional prosperity.

 

About the Role

As the Senior Officer – Reporting, Data & Risks, you will play a key role in supporting the integrity, analysis and reporting of program and project data across the Regional Programs & Partnerships division.

You will develop reporting methodologies and tools, maintain high quality data collections, contribute to financial and project reporting, and support risk management processes across the division.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on turning data into meaningful insights, improving processes, and supporting evidence-based decision making at senior levels.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the development of reporting frameworks and data methodologies to support robust financial, program and project reporting across the Regional Programs & Partnerships
  • Maintain high quality‑ data systems (including SmartyGrants and Power BI) and ensure accuracy, integrity and consistency across all program datasets
  • Design and implement data management processes and protocols that align with departmental record ‑keeping and support best
  • Produce clear, actionable reporting—including dashboards, routine program updates, milestone tracking and financial forecasts—for internal leaders, senior executives and ministerial audiences
  • Work collaboratively with Program and Contracting Managers to support accurate data capture and implement improved mechanisms for data exchange
  • Administer and maintain the division’s risk registers, ensuring timely updates and consolidated reporting of operational and program risks
  • Respond to adhoc‑ information requests and provide timely insights to support decision making‑ and strategic planning

 

You will also navigate key challenges such as:

  • Balancing competing priorities, deadlines and demands across multiple programs and stakeholders in a fast-paced‑ environment
  • Ensuring data integrity and auditability, including maintaining complete, accurate records across diverse systems and processes

 

About You

You will be someone who brings strong analytical capability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights. You enjoy collaborating across teams, building relationships, and improving data and reporting processes.
