About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan and deliver essential infrastructure projects across the Riverina & Murray region, with the role based in Wagga Wagga. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to make a meaningful contribution to regional communities and is willing to relocate or already lives locally.

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of civil and community infrastructure projects, from water and wastewater upgrades to public facilities and local transport assets. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also guide other Project Managers and support a collaborative, high‑performing delivery culture.

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects meet required standards of time, cost, quality, safety, and environmental performance, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with a proven ability to deliver projects in environments where clear communication, good judgement and strong stakeholder engagement are essential.

You will bring:

  • A background in engineering, construction, or major infrastructure project management
  • Experience managing multiple projects with defined time, cost and quality outcomes
  • Knowledge of contract administration, procurement, and delivery risk management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse client groups and community stakeholders
  • A commitment to professional integrity, teamwork, and strong work ethic
  • Relevant trade, post‑trade or tertiary qualifications (engineering preferred; construction/project management considered)
  • Demonstrated experience in civil, water, wastewater or similar infrastructure
  • A valid NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the region (including occasional overnight stays)

This role will suit someone who thrives in a role with variety, autonomy, and a strong client‑service focus.
