- Clerk Grade 9/10 – salary from $ 129,464.00 to $ 142,665.00 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading
The Senior Systems Developer will lead the development and implementation of a strategic approach to data transformation and streamlining, delivering new Power Apps, upgrades and migrations of legacy systems to the Power Platform environment. This role is responsible for driving long-term improvement by developing and executing strategies to modernise fisheries research and evaluation systems, overseeing software development across the full lifecycle—including requirements gathering, development, testing and release management. Collaborating closely with database experts and subject matter specialists, the position will build innovative solutions on existing data sets, solve complex data challenges, and deliver impactful dashboards and reporting to support evidence-based decision making.
As our ideal candidate, you will bring:
- A degree in information technology or equivalent practical experience in software development in Microsoft Power Apps
- Experience in successfully building and delivering solutions using Power Apps (Canvas, Model‑Driven, Power Pages/Portal), Power Automate, SharePoint
- Power BI and Microsoft Fabric experience
- Excellent communication and requirement gathering skills
- Previous fisheries, research or monitoring and evaluation systems experience

- Willingness to travel within NSW for work-related purposes on occasion
