About the role
The Land Services Officer delivers community-based projects and frontline services, fostering stewardship and communities of practice while providing advice, emergency management, and program monitoring to support healthy, productive landscapes.
We’re looking for people with a strong interest in agriculture and natural resource management to partner with landholders in delivering community-focused outcomes.
To be successful in the role you will need:
- Previous relevant experience and/or qualifications in Natural Resource Management and/or Agriculture with some project management experience.
- Ability to provide timely, accurate advice to our customers and to interpret legislation,
- The ability and willingness to travel to perform field work such as inspections and assessments in remote locations
- Demonstrated interest in vegetation management and/or agricultural productivity projects
- A genuine interest in natural resource management and rural industries
- Ability to work from one of the specified locations and undertake field-based work as required
About You
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have the following:
- A Current NSW Class C Driver
- A degree in environmental, agricultural, natural resource management, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Strong project management skills and knowledge
- Excellent organisational skills and experience in coordinating projects and activities
- Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders and build partnerships
- Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance if required
