About the role

Deliver high-level business and operational services to ensure the efficient functioning of the Regional Growth Development Corporation. This role has a ranged scope, your work will include but is not limited to:

  • Administering and maintaining the RGDC’s risk registers and coordinate compliance and governance requirements for the RGDC.
  • Manage business planning processes for RGDC, and contributing to the development of strategies and plans.
  • Developing and implementing reporting methodologies and tools, maintain high quality data collections and contribute to reporting requirements.
  • Developing and implementing improvement projects and provide operational support across the group.
  • Collaboration with central business partners and providing advice and technical expertise on a wide variety of business functions.
  • Working across the group to support program delivery and achieve business performance outcomes.

You will be someone who brings strong operational and analytical capability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights. You enjoy building relationships, collaborating across teams, and achieving high quality business and operational outcomes.

The New South Wales Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) protects, supports and develops primary industries and regional economies.  

Collectively we support strong and sustainable agriculture, forestry, fishing and mining industries, and regional economies. We actively manage our natural assets: our lands and soils, minerals, waterways and oceans, vegetation and forests.  

The department brings together:  Local Land Services, NSW Resources, Agriculture and Biosecurity, Fisheries and Forestry and Regional Development and Delivery.  

With the majority of the DPIRD team living and working in regional NSW, we are embedded in the regions we serve.
