  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW SCS office locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
  • Departmental Officer Grade 7/8 – Salary from $113,574 up to $125,720 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading

 About the Role
Join the Soil Conservation Service as a Financial Performance Coordinator, where you'll lead our Project Finance team in delivering essential business operations. In this established role, you’ll guide a dedicated team, manage budgets, and act as a subject matter expert for financial evaluation and reporting. It’s a great balance of people coordination and technical oversight, perfect for someone who enjoys refining processes to help a team achieve high-quality results.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Experience guiding teams to deliver high-quality project and financial administration
  • Adept at financial oversight, budget management, and technical reporting
  • Proven ability to improve financial systems and operational processes
  • Skilled at resolving complex enquiries with integrity and accountability
  • Advanced capability in financial evaluation to support key objectives.
  • Proven experience with Construction Project Management financial management and software
