About the Role
As a Programs Officer with Local Land Services, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering statewide organisational initiatives that strengthen how the organisation operates and delivers services to landholders and communities across NSW.
Working within the Organisational Programs team, you will contribute to and lead organisation‑wide programs, initiatives and projects that drive organisational improvement and effectiveness by designing and implementing practical responses to identified risks, issues and improvement opportunities. This includes shaping, implementing and uplifting business practices, processes and controls across Local Land Services.
The team focuses on embedding consistent, fit‑for‑purpose approaches that respond to emerging needs, support the organisation to address and manage risk, and strengthen outcomes for Local Land Services and its stakeholders.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with colleagues, senior leaders and external partners to manage projects from concept through to delivery. You will provide high‑quality advice, develop clear and purposeful documentation, and support continuous improvement by enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening stakeholder engagement and ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience supporting or managing projects and programs, with an ability to work to timeframes, budgets and quality expectations
- Strong research, analysis and writing skills, with confidence preparing briefs, reports and project documentation
- The ability to build positive working relationships and contribute effectively within small, agile teams
- Well-developed communication skills, including an interest in stakeholder engagement and promoting program outcomes
- Sound organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving and accountability
- A NSW drivers licence and be willing & able to travel, as required.
