  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
  • Clerk Grade 11/12 – Salary from $154,231 up to $178,369 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading

About the Role
As Program Leader Reform, you will lead the delivery of complex regulatory reform projects across Hunting & Plantations Regulation. This newly created role provides an opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, improve regulatory maturity and drive meaningful change across the sector. Working closely with senior leaders, government stakeholders and industry representatives, you will lead project teams, oversee governance and risk management, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with organisational priorities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project leader who enjoys working in complex environments and turning strategy into practical outcomes.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Extensive experience leading complex projects and reform programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build stakeholder partnerships.
  • Experience improving regulatory, governance or compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of government processes, legislation and policy environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
