- Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
- Clerk Grade 5/6 – Salary from $102,936 up to $113,579 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading
About the Role
As an Assistant Project Officer, you’ll provide practical project and financial administration support across Fisheries & Forestry. You’ll help coordinate project records, reporting, milestones, risks, budgets and compliance requirements, while keeping stakeholders informed and supporting good project governance. This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable working across multiple priorities in a busy team environment.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Solid administration experience and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing records, reports and project documents.
- Confidence supporting project, finance and governance processes.
- Clear communication skills and a practical, customer-focused approach.
- The ability to use technology to manage data, information and records.
- Good judgement, integrity and the confidence to raise risks or issues early.
- A flexible, collaborative approach and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
