- SEB1 Total Remuneration Package (TRP) starting from $224,226 per annum including superannuation, commensurate with experience
About the role
This is a senior leadership opportunity to guide strategic and complex assessment work for exploration and mining matters in NSW, with a strong focus on native title and sound legislative decision-making. In this role you will work across NSW Resources to provide clear advice, support policy and legislative reform, and help ensure assessment processes are robust, efficient and responsive to business, industry and community needs. In this role you will lead sensitive and often complex matters, manage competing priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships and drive improvements that strengthen governance, reduce risk and support quality outcomes.
About you
You are an experienced and trusted senior leader who brings sound judgement, integrity and confidence working within complex legislative, policy and regulatory environments. You possess advanced capabilities in the ability to interpret complex information, provide practical and influential advice, and make balanced decisions on matters that may have significant economic, community and stakeholder impacts.
A strong communicator and collaborator who can lead teams, engage effectively across government, industry and community stakeholders, and deliver improvements in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
