We have a great opportunity based in Perth, Adelaide or Melbourne for an experienced People and Culture/HR Generalist to join our People and Culture team. This role will be supporting our Operations team across Western Australia, South Australia and our Distribution Centre in WA.

 

Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering Lead, you will play key role in delivering on our National People and Culture Strategy, partnering with the State Manager and State Ops teams to develop people initiatives.

 

A day in the role:

 

  • Develop and implement People and Culture strategy across the Western Division ( WA/SA)
  • Review engagement survey results to develop initiatives for your division
  • Develop talent matrix and succession plans
  • Manage remuneration reviews in line with company timelines and business needs
  • Develop initiatives to enhance and promote engagement across our teams, identifying key talent
  • Manage complaints and workplace investigations
  • Lead and manage all employment relations matters for the division and proactively mitigate risks by understanding key insights and themes.
  • Assist with the implementation of Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Outcomes
  • Provide Performance Management Advice to State Operations team
  • Coach, lead and mentor your key stakeholders and commercially drive positive outcomes

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR and or commerce is preferred
  • Experience in successfully managing difficult ER matters
  • Experience in interpreting awards and agreements
  • Proven success in talent management processes and succession planning
  • Previous HR Advisor experience
  • Solid understanding of current legislation and HR practices
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills
  • Retail/FMCG experience is preferred
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at pace and manage and prioritise multiple and competing demands
