At The Reject Shop, our store layout and product flow are critical to creating the best possible experience for our customers and delivering on our low-cost promise. We’re looking for a detail-driven and collaborative Range and Space Coordinator to support and guide the business on the optimal use of space across our national store network.
Working closely with the Retail Operations, Merchandise, and Customer Strategy teams, this role will be instrumental in designing planograms, supporting new initiatives, and helping drive comparative sales and transactions by improving in-store navigation and product visibility.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Creating and maintaining home location planograms using financial data to optimise space by product
- Supporting range reviews, store relays, and the development of new-look microflows
- Coordinating in-store setups for trials and new layouts in Bullring, trial stores, and potentially new stores
- Providing operational feedback and analytical support to improve space management decisions
- Assisting with store openings, including layout execution and fixture setup
- Updating and maintaining space tracking tools, master space sheets, and store merchandise plans
- Supporting new business initiatives and store transitions aligned to our growth strategy
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience working in retail, particularly in areas related to store operations, visual merchandising, or buying
- Understanding of space planning and visual merchandising principles
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute range and layout changes
- Experience using Spaceman for planogram development and shelf optimisation or space planning tools advantageous/desirable
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (for visual layouts) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A practical understanding of store procedures, product flow, and fixture capabilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to extract and interpret data to guide decisions
