Apply now Job no: 501727
Work type: Fixed term full time
Location: Victoria
Categories: People and Culture (HR)

You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve heard the hype.
The Reject Shop is now part of global retail giant Dollarama - and 2026 is set to be a transformative year.

As our store network continues to grow towards 700 stores, we’re investing heavily behind the scenes to ensure our people systems scale with us.

We’re looking for a HR Specialist to join our P&C team on a Fixed Term Contract to play a critical role in the HR side of our SuccessFactors implementation. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders, SMEs, and project partners to ensure a smooth, compliant, and well‑adopted rollout across the business.

If you enjoy being at the heart of change, translating complex systems into practical solutions, and supporting teams through transformation - this could be your next move.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as the HR subject matter expert for the SuccessFactors rollout, with a primary focus on Employee Central (EC).
  • Mapping event reasons, positions, and organisational structures, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements.
  • Ensuring legal and industrial compliance within the system build, particularly from a Fair Work perspective.
  • Collaborating closely with Payroll and project partners, to ensure end‑to‑end integration.
  • Driving change management activities, including:
    • Developing training guides, quick reference materials, and user documentation
    • Supporting rollout to senior leaders and key stakeholders
    • Training HR and business SMEs, who will cascade knowledge to stores
  • Supporting clear and engaging change communications, including posters, guides, and rollout materials.
  • Building a strong understanding of the business structure and org charts to support system accuracy and adoption.

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in a HR, HRIS, or change‑focused role (minimum 12 months experience required).
  • Demonstrated change management experience - essential.
  • Exposure to system implementation or HR technology projects, ideally SuccessFactors.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, or multi‑site organisation.
  • Retail experience (or large workforce environments) highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with data, structures, and system configuration.
  • The confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset - you’re comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy problem‑solving in fast‑moving environments.

What we can offer you

  • A critical role in one of the largest HR transformations underway across Australian retail.
  • Exposure to enterprise‑level SuccessFactors implementation and change delivery.
  • Career growth across a national retailer backed by a global organisation.
  • A collaborative, down‑to‑earth culture where HR is a true business partner.
  • Employee benefits including paid parental leave and EAP support.
  • The opportunity to make a real impact on how our people are supported — from head office to store floor.

This is more than an HR role.
It’s your chance to help shape how our people experience change.
