St Johns College Dubbo is seeking a passionate and dedicated PDHPE KLA Leader to join our Middle Leadership Team. This role is focused on leading the Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education (PDHPE) department by supporting both the academic and wellbeing growth of our students. This is a 2pt position with an additional 0.2 FTE time allocation.
As the new PDHPE KLA Leader, your day may consist of:
- Partnering with the Leadership Team to drive cultural change and school improvement
- Collaborating with Middle Leaders to align academic care with student wellbeing
- Engage with Senior Leaders to address the learning needs of the College community
- Foster a positive, faith-filled environment where students thrive and staff excel
- Lead evidence-based practices in pedagogy, curriculum, and wellbeing initiatives
- Advance teaching and learning projects within the school community
- Manage data processes to support learning growth for students and staff
About You
We are looking for someone who is able to meet the following selection criteria:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW
- Ability to teach PDHPE across Stages 4-6
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a PDHPE Faculty
- Skilled in transparent, timely communication with students, staff, and parents, with the ability to employ conflict resolution strategies and foster a positive, supportive school environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a middle leadership team, supporting professional learning, mentorship, and a cohesive, student-centred culture
