Project Coordinator - Procurement and Contracts

In this role, you will be contributing to the establishment of new supply chain arrangements across repairs, maintenance and asset management. You will be knowledgeable and skilled with government procurement and contract management processes, flexible in your approach and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. You will be experienced in managing contractors and contracts in a government or corporate environment to support and enable projects, programs, and structured work efforts. It is critical in this role to confidently communicate with key stakeholders and executives and have sound procedural and policy knowledge. 

For this role, we will consider how well you:

  • Work in a team environment to support the development and implementation of contracts and procurements. 
  • Communicate and provide information and advice to a range of stakeholders including developing reports, briefs, and plans. This includes operating as the point of contact and coordinating requests regarding procurement or contract management audits and policy reviews as required. 
  • Develop asset management procurement and contract management plans to ensure contracts align to CPRs, DHA’s contract management framework and strategic objectives. 
  • Contribute to the development of the asset management annual procurement plan and work closely with the procurement team to ensure quality and timely procurement outcomes. This includes working across the team providing complex procurement support, ensuring contract management plans are finalised and operationalised.
  • Lead the collaboration for complex procurements including development and assurance of end-to-end procurement document. 
  • Establish procurement and contract plans, develop, and review new procurement documentation and processes to support an uplift in procurement systems and fit for purpose procurement outcomes. 
  • Use initiative to establish system improvements and process changes within projects. 

 

Eligibility requirements
The remuneration package includes a base salary and funded 15.4% superannuation. Employment with DHA is conditional on successful applicants demonstrating that they are an Australian citizen, meeting the required medical standards, and obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
