DHA Property Managers oversee a diverse portfolio of service residences to meet contractual obligations and adhere to DHA standards. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, managing interactions between occupants and landlords, and coordinate maintenance services through contractors following established Standard Operating Procedures.

Your responsibilities extend to conducting property inspections, identifying occupant liability, and ensuring properties are prepared for incoming occupants within budget constraints and agreed SOPs. Additionally, you play a key role in managing and updating DHA systems efficiently to meet occupancy timeframes. 

Skills you need to be successful in this role are:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to present and communicate information clearly across a range of mediums (including written and verbal).
  • Strong organisational skills, managing competing priorities while ensuring high customer service levels.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, balancing business needs with legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly develop skills and knowledge of business and government processes, applicable legislation, and best practice to deliver quality business outcomes.
  • Experience working flexibly within a high-pressure environment to meet organisation/team objectives.

Eligibility requirements
The remuneration package includes a base salary and funded 15.4% superannuation. Employment with DHA is conditional on successful applicants demonstrating that they are an Australian citizen, meeting the required medical standards, and obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
