In this leadership role you will lead enterprise-wide compliance with relevant security regulations (SOCI), frameworks (ISO27001), standards (QGIS:18), and policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring rapid containment, investigation, and recovery from security breaches and emerging threats. In addition, you will:-
- Evaluate and manage strategic partnerships with security vendors and service providers, ensuring value delivery and alignment with security objectives.
- Implement and oversee advanced security monitoring and analytics tools, providing regular reporting on key security metrics, threat trends, and incident outcomes.
- Assess and manage vulnerabilities and risks, conducting regular security audits, penetration tests, and risk assessments to proactively strengthen Sunwater’s security posture.
We are seeking a professional with 7+ years demonstrated experience in cyber security, degree in Cyber Security/ Computer Science/ IT or related field or equivalent experience. Ideally you will have formal industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor. You will also have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure cloud, cloud security tools like Conditional Access and Entra ID and you will have familiarity with ITIL practices and information security standards (ASD Essential Eight). We are also looking for:-
