What You'll Do:
Participates in the implementation, system design, and administration of AHCCCS systems and infrastructure. In addition to assigned systems/applications, projects and administrative tasks may be assigned as needed. Authority to install, configure, and modify systems and infrastructure are part of the job, with approved change control.
Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Perform system analysis, designs, constructs, and tests infrastructure
• Proactively solves complex problems
• Design and implement solutions, primarily in AHCCCS cloud environment
• Processes, documents, and coordinates resolution of trouble calls with help desk
• Provide guidance, assistance, training, and education
• Reviews configuration change proposals for compliance to established standards, guidelines and policies
• Coordinate, schedule and perform software installations to cloud based operating systems, layered software packages, and databases

• Cloud technologies including: AWS, AZURE, Google and OCI; Custom SSL, ciphers, and Elastic Load balancing, performance optimization
• Network and systems administration
• Virtualization technologies
• Thorough working knowledge of various infrastructure technologies and in-house developed applications

Minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of extensive experience in systems engineering (or equivalent experience).
Pre-Employment Requirements: |

• Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record for the last 39 months including no DUI, suspension or revocations and less than 8 points on your license. If an Out of State Driver License was held within the last 39 months, a copy of your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is required prior to driving for State Business. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
