The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Division of Business and Finance (DBF), is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Statewide Accountant 2 to join our team. In this critical role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the General Accounting Office (GAO) and various state agencies, providing expert guidance on the AZ360 Financial system, statewide accounting policies and procedures, and the fiscal year-end close process. You will be responsible for complex accounting tasks, including reviewing and recommending approval of data, policy changes, and system enhancements. This position requires a strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and GASB principles, as well as the ability to analyze complex financial information and solve unique accounting challenges.
