• This position works closely with the Lead Building Maintenance Specialist and Agency Facilities Manager to support all facilities activities.
• Frequent in-state travel is required for this position.
• Monitor incoming requests and the status of repair, maintenance, shipping, receiving, and delivery service requests and activities, completing requests on schedule
• Coordinate service requests with employees, Facilities personnel, and vendors
• Act as liaison to the property management, ADOA General Services Division, and vendors for projects or work requests
• Manage building and equipment maintenance schedules, perform building and equipment maintenance
• Clean/maintain carpeting throughout agency
• Maintain agency meeting and conference rooms: maintain calendars, set up daily conference configurations, schedule/perform maintenance for all conference equipment, and schedule/maintain janitorial services for conference rooms
• Develop and maintain conference room schedule to coincide with conference room calendars
• Provide on-site audio-visual assistance and training as needed for conferences.
• Ensure that working environments are clean and that technology in common spaces are functional
• Coordinate internal personnel moves
• Restructure and maintain modular furniture systems and office furniture
• Responsible for maintaining floor maps using provided software
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of the emergency action preparedness plans
• Maintain the key issuance and tracking for the agency
• Perform conference deliveries/pick-ups utilizing a state vehicle
• Coordinate and provide courier services to multiple locations utilizing a state vehicle as needed
• Operate mail room and warehouse equipment, distribute and process agency mail, Fed Ex, UPS, U.S.P.S., and other deliverables
Utilize a variety of shipping data bases, and input data pertaining to numbers of address corrections, additions, and deletions necessary to keep required data bases current
• Ensure completion of building inspections, safety equipment/supply inspections, and assist with agency safety training
