Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Testing Proctor (Human Resources Technician Senior). This position is responsible for administering pre-employment tests and assessments to qualified applicants for the position of Correctional Officer for the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) within the Recruitment Unit for Selection and Hiring (RUSH). Job Duties:

- Conducts Evaluation Centers
- Prepares testing materials
- Provides verbal instruction
- Administers written tests
- Scores written tests
- Finger prints applicants
- Copies documents
- Coordinates/plans recruitment trips to include evaluation centers and job fairs
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Interacts with applicants in person, via phone and/or Internet to supply information, schedule testing appointments and answers questions
- Prepares reports and provide statistical information
- Drives on state business to statewide locations

- State and agency personnel rules, policies and procedures

- Provide recruitment, screening, and interviewing assistance

- Provide support to analysts involved in one or more specialties
- Perform a variety on interrelated and/or non-standard Human Resources support assignment
- Apply basic personnel rules, procedures and operations

Selective Preference(s):

- Extensive customer service experience and excellent communications skills with large group speaking

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
