The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Network Coordinator. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.

The primary role of the Network Coordinator is to recruit new Qualified Vendors and collaborate/partner with existing Qualified Vendors to expand their service array into other geographical areas or amend their Qualified Vendor Agreement to include additional service options based on need.

Applicants for this position cannot be licensed or certified by DES Office of licensing Certification and Regulation, cannot have a principal interest in or have spouse or close family with principal interest in a Qualified Vendor Agreement, and cannot be employed or subcontracted by a Qualified Vendor.

Job Duties:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct new provider orientation and provider meetings as requested.
• Develop databases and methods for tracking recruitment efforts and technical assistance provided to new and existing Qualified Vendors.
• Provide technical assistance to Qualified Vendors on the Program Management and Services Level detail section of the Request for the Qualified Vendor Agreement through application approval.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of :

• Working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Community resources.
• Google Suite (Calendar, Meets, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms), Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, etc..

Skills In: 

• Interpersonal relations as applied to contacts with members, representatives of other governmental and community organizations, and the public.
• In researching, applying laws, policies and procedures, directives, while monitoring and evaluating these services.
• Oral and written communication skills.

Ability to:

• Organize information quickly, logically and remain flexible as priorities change.
• Adapt and be sensitive to cultural diversity and maintain a professional demeanor. 
• Work effectively with a wide range of personalities and team members.

Selective Preference(s):

The ideal candidate will possess:

At least (1) year of experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficiency in the Google Suite (Calendar, Meets, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Successfully pass background and reference check; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the Agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
• All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, then the following requirements apply: Driver’s License Requirements.

Retirement:

State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement. You will also have the option to participate in a voluntary deferred compensation program to take advantage of tax-deferred retirement investments.
