The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Administrative Assistant III.
• Writes correspondence and responds to questions via thentia portal, email, phone, and/or in person regarding the license and application process
• Assist other staff with credentialing and provides back-up for the front desk reception area
• Assist with substantive review of applications for licensure
• Retrieve test scores from national testing entities
• Close application files after each Board meeting
• Register applicants with national testing entities
• Process incoming mail
• Issue licenses
• Answer phones
• Other duties as assigned

• Administrative Rules & Statutes of the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
• Knowledge and function of regulatory operations
• Rules related to the release of public information
• Applicable retention policies and practices
• Rules related to Confidentiality Acts
• General office practices
• Application processes

• Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment
