This position will be in-office during training (up to 6 months).
Once fully trained, remote work may be available up to 4 days a week.

Job Summary:

The Registrar of Contractors (ROC) Legal Department oversees roughly 1200 legal actions per year throughout the State of Arizona. This fast-paced unit processes cases for the Office of Administrative Hearings, felony background checks on license applicants, requests for payout from the Recovery Fund, and provides legal guidance to all ROC departments. The Legal Department work is diverse, interesting and important to the mission of the agency.
This critical position is part of the legal team and reports to a Paralegal Manager.
The Legal Department Secretary is an entry level position with promotional opportunities throughout the agency. We welcome and encourage all interested applicants to apply.

 

Job Duties:
  • Significant time responding to customer service inquiries over the phone, in person, and by email.
  • Prepare and issue correspondence and notices.
  • Prepare files for inter-agency electronic transmission.
  • Data-entry, calendaring, filing, scanning and other office/clerical duties.
  • Assist with projects assigned by the Legal Department Management.
