POSITION SUMMARY:
This position performs compliance audits, including on-site and desk audits, of certified entities and licensed individuals, including public, private and non-profit individuals and organizations. Analyzes and evaluates operations with emphasis on compliance with statutes, court orders, program rules and administrative codes including the Code of Conduct. Assists in selecting entities and individuals to be audited and recommends strategies for conducting the audits. Assists other compliance auditors, investigators, and the complaints and audits manager in developing audit and investigation processes.

Additionally, this position may investigate complaints regarding any individual or organization regulated by the Arizona Supreme Court, including, Fiduciaries, Legal Document Preparers, , Defensive Driving Schools and Instructors, Certified Court Reporters, and Confidential Intermediaries.

This position may offer the ability to work remotely, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in political science, business, public administration, accounting, finance, or related field and three years’ experience in a related field. Directly related experience may substitute for a degree. This position requires experience working in an operational review field, including auditing; effective written and oral communication skills, including report writing and interviewing techniques. The ability to understand and apply Arizona laws, including Arizona Revised Statues, Arizona Code of Judicial Administration and Arizona Rules of Court. Also, the ability to work effectively with applicants, judicial offices, staff, attorneys, and the public.

Additionally, this position requires strong research, tracking and critical analysis skills, demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and the ability to exercise good judgment, have a creative approach to problem-solving, and be able to effectively work with other staff.

Travel level: up to 10%
