Job Summary:

This position will require data tracking, auditing and reporting to internal and external staff and sites, utilizing multiple state platforms such as HEAplus, APEP, Cognos, PMMIS, Control D, SQL and the external-facing AHCCCS website. The position will also require skills in researching various items such as HEAplus actions, APEP functions, Build Tracker tickets, PAS Process Notification Failures and CMS MMA file rejections. This position will require the creation and facilitation of several meeting series in AIHP, Standards Updates, SWOT, Ticket Reviews and Root Cause Analysis, among others. In addition to these duties, this position will require review of division contact center functions, coordination of inquiry responses to internal and external entities and coordination of SFTP and MFT.

Job Duties:

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Reporting and tracking information from multiple systems and relaying the reported information to internal and external websites and shareholders.
• Research tickets and information from report summaries. Track progress of Root Cause Analysis.
• Attend meetings and conduct research to understand and establish requirements, business rules and system design components. Position is accountable in its determination to accomplish each task accurately and timely, with teamwork and partnership with other divisions and external partners to be aware of interdependencies, and ensure seamless transitions.
• Coordinate the creation of monthly update provider files and post files to the appropriate sites. Coordination of SFTP and MFT setup.
• Draft Medicaid rules for eligibility systems; Review and interpret Medicaid rules and policy.
• Lead design and policy teams related to system changes. Lead, contribute to and/or participate in training, the Arizona Management System (AMS).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge:
• Project management, operational and management analysis.

• Convey information to determine effective solutions to all levels of AHCCCS and other agencies.
• Identify and analyze organizational and/or procedural problems and create effective solutions.
• Establish and maintain effective, cooperative relationships as necessary to conduct work.

Selective Preference(s):

Minimum: Three or more years of program testing. A degree or relevant certification in IT, programming and/or coding may substitute for experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in information systems plus experience in program testing (or equivalent experience); experience related to Health care is a plus.
