The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is looking for a very professional individual like you, who provides administrative support to the Deputy Office Administrator and ensures projects assigned deadlines are met, you will also research and respond to inquiries concerning related topics to assist the department. This position also prepares reports and serves as Property Liaison at our Deputy Office location.

- Performs monthly statistical reports for classification, protective custody, and bed management
- Processes and distributes Classification Max Packets
- Manages and tracks the operating budget to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Orders and tracks items utilizing Arizona Procurement Portal (APP)
- Reviews, tracks and responds to correspondence from the public and inmates
- Tracks Director’s projects to ensure time constraints are met
- Answers and directs internal/external calls and inquiries
- Distributes inter-office and administrative mail
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
Knowledge of:
- Business English, grammar, correspondence, and report formatting
- Research techniques and program planning
- Office practices and procedures
- Operations of computer equipment and various computer software, including Google Suite

- Three (3) years of administrative experience reporting to a manager or administrator
- Working knowledge of computer programs, including Google Suite
- ADCRR experience and knowledge of ADCRR policies and procedures
Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked or suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
