The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a Statistical Analyst to join our Healthcare Services Division. The Statistical Analyst is responsible for collecting, maintaining and analyzing confidential health information related to compliance with vendor provisions. These provisions pertain to the appropriate, timely and professional medical, mental health and dental care to the inmate population at ADCRR. The Statistical Analyst will also be responsible for compiling and processing background packets for potential new hires for contracted health vendors.
-Reviews completed paperwork and processes background clearances for staff, contractors, external stakeholders, and students
-Gathers and analyzes statistical data from scheduled/required ad hoc reports generated by vendor concerning compliance, quality indicators, and other topics required by the contract
-Receives individual and aggregated reports from Contract Compliance and Quality Assurance Management related to their respective areas of monitoring
-Synthesizes and analyzes data and information to determine localized or systemic patterns and issues
-Develops and produces confidential reports, graphs and spreadsheets
-Ensures information is accurate and provides in a timely manner
-Completes special projects and assignments
-Attends meetings as required
-Conducts research and composes responses
-Drives on State Business
-Other duties as assigned

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.
Five (5) years experience researching and analyzing data, developing data bases, spreadsheets, reports and other electronic data storage systems.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked or suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
