What You'll Do:
This position will manage the overall Information Service Division's Web Online and Cloud Based Processing Transaction teams. This position will be responsible for managing or supervising medium to large, complex technical, business support, production operation team(s), adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resources and operational challenges. This position will make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, receiving guidance from CIO and Deputy CIO.
Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage and direct the ISD Web Online and Cloud Based Transaction Processing Applications Systems. Assist with peripheral management of various areas within the Mainframe Applications Operations.
• Develop and monitor the team-level budget and will report the budget to the executive team. This position will manage, monitor and track project-related costs and other relevant activities performed by the department. Assist the Deputy CIO as needed.
• Define immediate and long-term goals, priorities, and operational plan to ensure team goals are aligned with the goals and priorities of the organization.
• Advocate technology changes that provide value and support of Agency goals; champions a cohesive and consistent approach to improvement in the organization across all platforms.
• Identifies major resource constraints that impact implementation of desired organizational goals. Provides input to functional or departmental strategy. Plans work activities, prioritizes, set goals and objectives.
• Train, schedule and monitor resources, leads hiring process and accountable for effective use of resources.

Minimum:
• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 or more years of related experience plus 3 or more years of management experience (or equivalent experience).
Preferred:
• Eight (8) or more years’ experience working in health care, preferably Arizona Medicaid Enterprise System.
