Job Summary:  This Posting is for Current Internal ADHS Applicants ONLY.

This position is responsible for complex planning, coordinating, and conducting management analysis of data and processes associated with the licensing and regulation of Long Term Care facilities through Division and Agency information systems. In collaboration with Bureau personnel and Division management analysts, this position will coordinate analysis studies; collect and analyze data to inform continuous quality improvement; prepare complex statistical and technical reports; and document standard work. This position will coordinate quality assurance/process improvement activities with a focus on improving efficiency, customer service, and quality; identify, review, and prepare recommendations for organizational and operational changes relative to management practices; and represent the Bureau Chief at meetings.

Job Duties:

Collect and analyze data to inform continuous quality improvement; prepare complex statistical and technical reports; document standard work for the Bureau

Coordinate quality/process improvement activities with a focus on improving efficiency, customer service, and quality in all Bureau operations; identify, review, and prepare recommendations for organizational and operational changes relative to management practices.

Oversee and/or review of quality systems by tracking time frames and other quality data. Develops standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, and other performance-related metrics. Document standard work processes for the Bureau and revise as needed to stay current with the needs of the Bureau.

Other duties as assigned as related to the position (typically 5% - 10%)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:

-Oversee and/or review of quality systems by tracking time frames and other quality data.
-Develops standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, and other performance-related metrics.
-Performance Management (PM), and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Lean methodologies.

Skill in:

-Excellent organization and workload management
-Excellent communication (verbal and written) that allow communication of complex regulatory issues in a clear, concise and effective manner
-Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships

-Strong computer skills which include, but are not limited to database management software programs

Selective Preference(s):

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2 years of experience in Public Health, Environmental Health or closely related field OR 5 years experience with a general understanding of public health principles including software and data/statistical analysis may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Retirement:

To help you build a financially secure future, the State makes monthly contributions to finance your retirement benefit. The State will contribute to the ASRS in an amount equal to your contribution.
