ASH DEPUTY CHIEF HR OFFICER PHOENIX
The purpose of this human resources (HR) role is to be a strategic partner and member of the Arizona State Hospital (ASH) Executive Management Team. This position provides leadership and support to the ASH and reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) but also has accountability to the ASH Chief Executive Officer. This position will be an integral part of all strategic agency HR initiatives., providing an executive-level review to ensure the needs of the ASH are presented and considered in line with agency goals and objectives. This position will provide consultation to the CHRO and Deputy CHRO and guidance to ADHS ASH management and employees with regard to federal and state employment laws. Personnel Rules, statewide and agency HR policies and procedures, and other HR-related functions. Will participate in the establishment of guidelines and policies. This position may provide direct and/or indirect oversight of employee relations, operations, talent acquisition, recruitment, and classification and compensation. This position will handle, direct, and provide guidance in employee relations matters which may include but are not limited to; administrative personnel investigations, internal complaints, employee discipline or other corrective action, EEOC position statements, FMLA, and official correspondence. This position is also responsible for reviewing and approving HR actions within recruitment and operations, such as hiring packets, separations, PAF processing, and running HR data analytics and reports for the ASH Leadership team.
