| Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Quality Assurance and Improvement Office, and the Laboratory Licensure and Certification Office. Assists or determines the issuing of licenses to laboratories (Medical Marijuana, Environmental, Clinical). Maintaining current licenses (EPA, CLIA, ISO/IEC) for ASPHL by ensuring the minimum standards of proficiency, methodology, quality assurance, operation, and safety, and ensuring compliance. Conducts initial and annual inspections of laboratories, to determine compliance with the Statutes or Rules. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed laboratory upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed laboratory performing compliance testing. |

| This position manages the programmatic, clinical quality management, and epidemiology activities of the Ryan White Part B (RWPB) in the Office of HIV & Hepatitis C Services. Under the oversight of the Office Chief, the Ryan White Part B Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities of sub-recipients providing Ryan White Part B funded services, coordinating service delivery with community partners, managing program revenue, and managing procurement and budget actions related to the program. This position is responsible for oversight and monitoring of all RWPB contracts, including initiating, implementing, monitoring and tracking of all contracts. The Ryan White Part B Program Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with community members, partners and community stakeholders in addition to Ryan White Part B sub-recipients. They are expected to participate in Ending the HIV Epidemic planning activities in the state of Arizona. |
