This position also provides direct therapy and/or instructing others in techniques of treatment and activities of continued care, performs public awareness and informational activities, maintains records, and prepares reports. |

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing in-patient specialty psychiatric care to patients admitted to the Arizona State Hospital including: performing diagnostic examinations, prescribing medications, developing behavioral plans, monitoring care and progress of the patient toward treatment and recovery goals. |
