The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a driven leader to join our team as Deputy Warden of Operations. Under the direction of the Warden, the Deputy Warden of Operations monitors and oversees complex operations and serves as the acting Warden in his / her absence. The incumbent will serve as administrator of a multi-custody prison complex, which includes restrictive status housing. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing diverse groups of staff, progressive administrative experience in budget management, managing inmate populations, monitoring and directing unit operations, security, inmate programming, and physical plant operations. In collaboration with the Warden, the Deputy Warden of Operations is responsible for ensuring the prison applies modern correctional practices.

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a driven leader to join our team as Deputy Warden (Correctional Administrator II). Under the direction of the Complex Warden, the Deputy Warden will serve as an administrator of a unit with 400 inmates or less within an institution. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing diverse groups of staff, progressive administrative experience in managing inmate populations, monitoring and directing unit operations, security, inmate programming, and be responsible for ensuring the unit applies modern correctional practices.
LABORATORY COMPLIANCE OFFICER PHOENIX
Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Quality Assurance and Improvement Office, Radiation Control, and the Laboratory Licensure and Certification Office. Assists or determines the issuing of licenses to laboratories (Medical Marijuana, Environmental, Clinical), maintaining current licenses (EPA, CLIA, ISO/IEC) for ASPHL by ensuring the minimum standards of proficiency, methodology, quality assurance, operation and safety, and ensuring compliance with ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Conducts initial and annual inspections of laboratories, ionizing and nonionizing facilities to determine compliance with the Statutes or Rules. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed laboratory upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed laboratory performing compliance testing. This position is required to perform work at/attend meetings at alternate locations and/or travel (in and out of state) when necessary, possibly requiring a state, personal or rented vehicle. Corresponds with the regulated lab community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from the laboratories, development of standards, rule making and laboratory inspections. Perform, assist or review detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a laboratory's certification, or other types of legal orders. Has general knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline. Continues to build experience within the field. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.

The Early Care and Education (ECE) Systems Specialist will support the AZ Health Zone SNAP-Ed program by leading the integration of trauma-informed approaches and community engagement into the ECE focus area. The Specialist will facilitate the development of implementation resources, guidance documents, and other materials in partnership with both local and statewide stakeholders, ensuring all resources are developed through a trauma-aware lens and reflect Arizona’s unique context. Key responsibilities include writing and managing contracts related to ECE training and support, and working closely with contracted local implementing agencies to review and approve action plans and budgets. The Specialist will also provide technical assistance, conduct site visits across Arizona, deliver training, and facilitate and convene committees and workgroups to tailor program delivery to both rural and urban communities. This position requires staying current on relevant child care and SNAP-Ed policies and regulations, interpreting their impact, and translating this knowledge into clear guidance and resources for program staff and partners. The ECE Systems Specialist will also build capacity among stakeholders around nutrition and food access, farm to ECE initiatives, child nutrition programs, learning collaboratives, and physical activity integration. The role includes representing AZ Health Zone ECE work among state and local partners such as the Empower Advisory Committee, the Early Childhood Nutrition Policy Team, the Go NAPSACC State Administrative Team, and other statewide and national groups to share insights and promote best practices in ECE systems change.
