What You'll Do to Contribute to Agency Success:
The Information Services Division (ISD) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Data Warehouse Developer for the Business Intelligence team within the Information Services Division at AHCCCS. The Data Warehouse developer will work with various customers throughout the agency to identify data needs and then define, develop and test new extract, transform, and load (ETL) solutions. This person will also be asked to maintain core production systems that manage the ETL processes, reporting application, and data warehouse. Occasionally this position will entail being on-call for production and technology support to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all data loads.
The AHCCCS Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (DW/BI) team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making that supports Arizona’s Medicaid programs and mission to deliver cost-effective, high-quality healthcare. The team manages an enterprise analytics ecosystem built on Informatica for ETL orchestration, Azure Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool for data warehousing, Cognos and Power BI for reporting and analytics, and Control-M for production workflow management.
We are currently leading a major modernization initiative to migrate to Microsoft Fabric, which unifies our data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics capabilities within a single cloud-native platform. This transformation will empower AHCCCS to deliver faster insights, scale efficiently, and leverage advanced AI and automation for smarter analytics.

| Under the direction of the Targeted Investments Program Administrator, this position provides project management support for the Targeted Investments (Tl) program. Responsibilities include project management support and assistance with Tl administrative functions; collecting, monitoring, and auditing of Tl participants' self-reported performance data and documentation; collaborating with other agency Divisions and staff that work on TI such as TI payments team and contracted vendors to manage and oversee the TI program; updating participant data base(s), service as a resource to Tl participants for answering questions, navigating systems, and explaining requirements. The position also assists with developing and meeting project schedules, meeting facilitation, presenting, and note taking; and developing and managing TI stakeholder communications (emails, tickets, phone calls, meetings, newsletters, website content etc.). This is a time limited position that is reliant on the current TI Waiver funding prior approved by CMS. Current funding for TI is approved through September 30, 2027. This position is not guaranteed to be filled after September 30, 2027. |
