| The Opioid Program Administrator position is responsible for providing both long-range vision and leadership of day-to-day operations and activities for the opioid prevention and response programs within the Office of Injury & Violence Prevention. This includes strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation, while ensuring successful program outcomes in accordance with federal and state funders and relevant authorities. This position works under the general direction of the Office Chief for Injury & Violence Prevention and supervises two Program Managers who oversee the Opioid Data to Action (OD2A) and State Opioid Response (SOR) programs. The Opioid Program Administrator will also collaborate closely with epidemiologists and other staff in the Bureau of Assessment and Evaluation and Business Information Office to advise on OD2A and SOR surveillance data and the Overdose Fatality Review. This position also develops and monitors budgets and expenditures; oversees management of all related grants and/or contracts; guides strategic planning, technical assistance, training, and health communications with partners, stakeholders, and program staff to identify opportunities for integration and collaboration; and develops critical relationships with internal and external partners, including community-based organizations, coalitions, county health departments, tribal nations and community health centers. The Opioid Program Administrator ensures accomplishment of the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the agency, Division, Bureau, and Office of Injury & Violence Prevention and ensures successful outcomes for the opioid prevention and response programs, including Opioid Data to Action (OD2A) and State Opioid Response (SOR) projects. In the absence of the Office Chief, this position will have authority to make program decisions. |

Vital Records Educator

| Under the general direction of the Education and Systems Services Manager for Vital Records, this position is an integral part of the office and will maintain a close, direct, and working relationship with all levels of management. The position will support the Bureau of Vital Records (BVR), it's partners, stakeholders and customers. The incumbent will independently develop and maintain various forms of educational and training materials including creating training videos and provide live on-line and in-person instruction; schedule and conduct training sessions for a variety of statewide partners including but not limited to funeral home partners, county vital records offices, midwives, hospitals, physicians, medical certifiers, clinics, medical examiners, tribal law enforcement authority, BVR internal users and other similar end users. Performs quality assurance reviews and monitors the work products of BVR and its partners for accuracy and potential educational or training needs. Exercises independent judgment in identifying training needs through the use of various assessments, surveys, and reports. Designs, manages and analyzes reports based on quality assurance assessments. Plans, communicates and coordinates training sessions to maintain the needs of system end users for both the business and systems respectfully. |

The Department of Economic Security, Division of Financial Operations, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounting Specialist 1. This position is responsible for managing Social Security and Supplemental Security Income benefits received from the Social Security Administration, as well as other benefits such as those from Veterans Affairs, Railroad Retirement, Civil Service, stipends, and earnings. This role involves collaborating with various organizations, including DES/DDD Support Coordination, the DES/DDD Revenue Desk/Residential Billing, ALTCS, and qualified vendors and providers, to ensure that members' essential needs, such as housing, food, clothing, and medical care, are met. The Representative Payee Specialist is also tasked with daily monitoring of accounts and communicating with Support Coordination regarding accounts approaching the maximum federal resource limits. Additionally, the Accounting Specialist 1 prepares and submits reports for each assigned member, detailing how federal benefits are utilized, and reports any changes in circumstances to the Social Security Administration.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
